Welcome to Voice Nudge. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

1. Audio Processing & Privacy

We handle your audio recordings with a "privacy-first" approach:

  • User-Controlled Storage: Audio files you record are uploaded to Firebase Storage under your anonymous account.
  • No AI Training: Your voice recordings are never used to train or improve AI models.
  • Recipient-Only Delivery: Voice nudges are delivered only to the intended recipients via push notifications. No third party can access your audio.
  • Local Reminders: Voice reminders are stored and triggered entirely on your device — they never leave your phone.

2. Data Collection

To provide our services, we collect:

  • Anonymous Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Auth. We do NOT collect your name, email, or phone number. Your account is identified only by a unique Anonymous UID.
  • Audio Recordings: Voice messages you record for nudges and your audio library, stored in Firebase Storage.
  • Purchase Data: We use RevenueCat to manage the Pro lifetime purchase. This includes transaction IDs linked to your anonymous UID.
  • Push Notification Tokens: OneSignal player ID for delivering voice nudge notifications to your loved ones.
  • App Stability: Anonymized crash reports and performance data are collected via Sentry to ensure app stability.
  • Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.

3. Third-Party Services

We share strictly necessary data with:

  • Google Firebase: For anonymous auth, cloud storage, and analytics. Firebase Privacy
  • RevenueCat: For processing and validating the Pro lifetime purchase. RevenueCat Privacy
  • OneSignal: For delivering push notifications. OneSignal Privacy
  • Sentry: For error and crash reporting. Sentry Privacy
  • Google AdMob: For banner advertisements (free tier only). Google Privacy
  • Apple (App Store) & Google (Play Store): For payment processing.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Audio files are stored as long as your account exists. You can delete audio files at any time from the Library tab.
  • When you delete a file, it is permanently removed from our servers.
  • You may request complete deletion of your anonymous UID and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.

5. Advertising

  • Free tier: Contains banner advertisements served by Google AdMob.
  • Pro users: All advertisements are removed after purchasing the Pro lifetime upgrade.
  • We do NOT use IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) or the ATT framework on iOS. We do not track users across other apps or websites.
